Career Path
He began his professional career in the real estate sector as a strategic development consultant, overseeing projects from initial conceptual definition through commercialisation and marketing execution. This experience positioned him at the intersection of development strategy and market positioning.
Between 1991 and 2006, he served as a Board Member of IMOLOC, part of the FIPAR business group, where he was responsible for the development of large-scale real estate projects. During this period, the company simultaneously managed approximately 300,000 sqm of construction pipeline, representing around €400 million in transaction volume. It also pioneered the segmentation of the real estate market into sub-brands while introducing innovative approaches to residential, office, and commercial development through advanced design concepts and material application, later analysed by universities as a business case study.
He subsequently founded a residential development company that introduced pioneering segmentation strategies targeting single buyers and couples without children, anticipating evolving demographic demand patterns.
As an entrepreneur, he established several companies dedicated to large-scale property development with differentiated conceptual approaches. Among these initiatives was the development of Quinta do Bom Sucesso in Óbidos — recognised as one of Europe’s best-conceived design resorts and involving nationally and internationally renowned architects — as well as the Herdades de Santo Estevão projects, positioned as an alternative residential lifestyle to living in Lisbon.
He later founded an advisory firm focused on real estate investment and development strategy, providing guidance on project structuring and capital allocation until 2019.
In 2022, he joined Havos as Senior Advisor, contributing strategic insight and development expertise to investment and advisory initiatives.
