Career Path
He holds a degree in Business Administration from Lusíada University and began his professional career at Arthur Andersen, working in audit and tax advisory where he progressed to senior level, gaining strong foundations in financial reporting, taxation, and compliance.
He entered the real estate sector with Donaldsons, supporting the establishment and growth of the firm’s Portuguese operations before assuming responsibility for office, industrial, and logistics agency activities.
He later joined Group SIL, where he led agency activities across multiple asset classes and was subsequently appointed Director, expanding responsibilities to include valuation and land commercialisation departments. During this period, the business grew significantly in scale and revenue, contributing to the broader expansion of the group’s development and investment operations.
At CB Richard Ellis, he established and led two new practice areas — Industrial & Logistics Agency and Land Development Agency — positioning the firm among the leading market players in Portugal within three years.
He transitioned to corporate occupier real estate leadership as Real Estate Manager for Portugal at C&A, managing national portfolio expansion and optimisation. He oversaw store rollouts from site identification to opening, growing the network from 15 to 42 locations and delivering €3 million in lease cost savings through renegotiation and optimisation initiatives.
He subsequently joined JLL as Business Developer responsible for establishing and expanding the firm’s presence in Porto. Leading multi-service business development across leasing, capital markets, valuations, and corporate solutions, he strengthened national market penetration and revenue growth while reporting directly to both Portuguese and Iberian leadership.
He currently serves as Senior Advisor at Havos, initially focusing on Capital Markets activities involving income-generating asset transactions and development project disposals. He now additionally leads the firm’s Leasing platform, expanding its commercial property advisory scope across office, retail, and industrial & logistics sectors, contributing to the firm’s strategic service diversification.
