Havos Real Estate is pleased to announce the appointment of Humberto Oliveira Neto as Head of Leasing and Industrial & Logistics, a move that combines the recruitment of new talent with a clear and determined growth strategy.
Humberto Oliveira Neto has built a career spanning more than three decades, working with the biggest names in the national and international property sector.
He began his career at Arthur Andersen in audit and tax consultancy before moving into the property sector with Donaldsons, where he helped set up the company’s Portuguese operations and took charge of the office, industrial and logistics division.
At the SIL Group, he led agency activities across multiple asset classes and was appointed director, expanding his remit to include the valuation and marketing of land during a period of significant business growth.
It was at CB Richard Ellis that he established and led two new business units, the Industrial & Logistics Agency and the Regional Development Agency, helping to position the company among the leading players in the Portuguese market in just three years.
He then moved into corporate real estate management at C&A, where he oversaw the expansion and optimisation of the national portfolio: he supervised the opening of new stores from site identification through to the grand opening, expanding the network from 15 to 52 outlets.
Before joining Havos, he also worked at JLL as head of business development in Porto, leading a multi-service approach covering lettings, capital markets, valuations and corporate solutions.
His profile combines strategic market insight, a network of contacts built up within the sector’s leading firms, and a proven track record of successful execution, positioning him as one of the most well-rounded and highly regarded professionals in the commercial property sector in Portugal.

The consultancy recently advised on the lease of approximately 18,000 square metres at Panattoni Park Santarém to SPAR, for the establishment of its logistics hub in Portugal, a transaction that demonstrates Havos’s ability to structure large-scale deals involving top-tier tenants and developers.
Negotiated with Panattoni, the transaction is a clear indication of Havos’s positioning in a sector that demands technical rigour, a network of contacts and the ability to handle complex transactions. The consultancy is also in the process of finalising a new representation mandate in the sector, further strengthening a pipeline that reflects dynamism and operational robustness.
