Career Path
Luis Mesquita is a senior Corporate Real Estate executive with more than three decades of experience in real estate investment, capital markets, asset and fund management, and business development, developed across multinational and domestic platforms.
He began his career in retail business development, founding and scaling several retail concepts in Portugal and successfully implementing franchising and expansion strategies.
He later held senior management roles at Fnac, where he led network restructuring, operational optimization and revenue growth.
He transitioned into real estate investment and asset management at Imorendimento Group, where he managed nationwide retail portfolios and later assumed responsibility for the asset management of a €300 million fund, overseeing leasing strategies, repositioning initiatives and value creation across multiple assets.
As a strategic consultant, he played a pivotal role in the development of Lionesa Business Hub, contributing to its master plan, commercial strategy and tenant mix, helping establish it as a leading business campus in Portugal.
In 2017, he founded and led the Porto Office of CBRE as Head of Office, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Portugal. Under his leadership, the office consistently exceeded performance targets and executed more than €200 million in transactions across Capital Markets and Advisory & Transactions.
He is currently Partner and Board Member at Havos Real Estate, where he leads the Capital Markets area and actively participates in strategic and executive governance.
